OUR HISTORY
More Than Conquerors Christian Church was established when God gave a vision to our Founder & Senior Pastor William McKinley Blackford IV.
MTC was blessed to hold its first Worship Experience and Vision & Victory meeting on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at the St. Stephen’s Enrichment Center.
Our next move was to Simmons Bible College where we stayed for a short time. On February 18, 2005, we were blessed to purchase land and remodel the building at our current address at 4600 Cane Run Road. The property consists of 2.3 acres of land. MTC partners wrote Bible scriptures on the wooden floors. (We literally stand on the Word!)

MTC is a Christ-centered loving community that exists to Get (Love Reaches), Grow (Love Develops), and Give (Love Serves). Many exciting programs exist at MTC to create disciples to fulfill the “Great Commission”.

On September 26, 2021, More Than Conquerors experienced a commemorative milestone as Rev. William McKinley Blackford IV passed the torch to its new Senior Pastor, Rev. Adam C. Carter. The Installation Service was attended by Ministers, congregants, family and friends that represented the past, present and future of More Than Conquerors Christian Church. To God be the glory for all He has done and for all He has in store for this great Ministry!
